The two candidates in Pasadena’s District 7 race are fighting for every vote ahead of a final tally Wednesday night.

Only 20 votes separated incumbent Andy Wilson and challenger Phil Hosp during the first tally last week, with Hosp edging out a lead.

Since then, both sides have pushed to make sure every one of their supporters gets counted. They’ve sent emails to voters who forgot their signatures, investigated possible recounts and checked and double checked the names on the more than 300 remaining provisional and late mail-in ballots to estimate their chances.
